Assessment of teacher candidate performance can be challenging in any setting, but doing so across 15 campuses can also bring new opportunities for improvement. This poster presents past and present methods for evaluating program effectiveness with and without technology. Full-time special education faculty developed strategies for increasing standardization across 15 campuses,and among hundreds of adjunct instructors. The academic freedom of individual instructors has been balanced with the systemic need for consistent practice across settings. Geographically dispersed faculty have been engaged so that data is collected and available when needed, utilizing signature assignments and procedures that can be implemented efficiently with little or no administrative support We showcase these and other effective practices and encourage attendees who may face similar challenges to join us for a conversation.
