Teri Cannon, Executive Associate Director, Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities, WASC This expanded session will cover several areas of critical importance to CAOs. First will be an update of new and proposed Department of Education regulations and how they will affect WASC and accredited institutions. Next, the draft report of the Task Force on Student Success will be presented and discussed. This report is designed to give guidance to institutions as they report about student graduation and retention, now emphasized in every review and visit. Issues that have emerged from this year's visits will be discussed. Finally, we will set the stage for the next revision of the Handbook of Accreditation, eliciting your thoughts about what we want to study and consider in this comprehensive review and revision.
