This poster addresses the topic of how asynchronous, flexible educational delivery systems can increase institutions' sustainability by meeting the needs of stakeholders. Students increasingly prefer to choose when and where to study, and many cannot afford to quit a job, relocate a family, or otherwise adapt their lives to full-time study. TUI University, a fully online institution, has developed an asynchronous learning model that offers high-quality degrees anywhere, anytime. Because of efficiencies in delivery, TUI is less vulnerable to fluctuations in federal and state funding, and the versatility of online delivery makes it simple to response to changing global and labor market needs. Finally, asynchronous "classrooms" make a college degree available to a diverse student body that has been marginalized. We share how TUI created this model and assured quality by eliminating silos, integrating faculty and staff resources, and decreasing dependence on physical plant.
